Ola expands management team and appoints two new CFOs

NEW DELHI : Ola, Indian leader in mobility, announced Thursday the expansion of its management team with the appointment of two CFOs. GR Arun Kumar joins as Group CFO for Ola and CFO for Ola Electric, while Swayam Saurabh has become CFO for Ola’s mobility, financial services and food business.

Arun Kumar brings more than two decades of experience in finance and strategy, including managing corporate growth and turnaround, benchmark transactions in large-scale debt and equity markets, governance, reporting and compliance with multinationals such as Vedanta Resources, GE and Hindustan Unilever.

With experience leading large-scale supply chain teams, delivering sales and supplier returns, managing large third-party manufacturing projects and field manufacturing projects, Arun Kumar joins Ola’s management team at a time when Ola Electric is battling to build the world’s largest two-wheeler factory which will also consolidate key critical suppliers into 2 supplier parks at the Tamil Nadu site.

Saurabh brings more than two decades of diverse experience in a range of roles including internal audit, risk management, business and operational process improvement and financial reporting, with companies such as Hindustan Zinc, Philips , Asian Paints and Larsen & Toubro.

Saurabh joins Ola’s leadership team as CFO of the high-growth mobility business, as well as the fast-growing financial and food services businesses, with a focus on building a strong growth with solid net income.

The two appointments follow several recent hires, including Rakesh Bhardwaj as Group CIO, N Balachandar as Human Resources Director (CHRO) of Ola Electric, Wayne Burgess as Design Manager for Ola Electric and YS Kim as Global Sales and Distribution Manager for Ola Electric.

Ola is building a strong talent organization and pool of leaders who will help it move into its next phase of growth in its mobility, power, financial services and food businesses.
