This week we met Jason McAteer, reflecting on his time at Ewood Park, his “toxic” relationship with Graeme Souness, and looking back on this successful season.
Jason made 36 appearances for Rovers in all competitions that season and scored one goal. It was an important goal as it opened the 2-0 derby win over Burnley at Turf Moor.
Our player profile from this season is Eyel Berkovic. The Israeli joined Rovers on loan from Celtic in the new year and made eleven appearances in the league, scoring two goals.
Both goals were from home as Berkovic scored big wins at Grimsby Town and then Queens Park Rangers.
We continue with ours Brockhall brains Quiz where we test the knowledge of the rover team.
This week we continue our clashes in the second round. Amari’i Bell and Lewis Travis compete for a place in the next round of the competition.
Another innovation is that we are presenting a European rover in the run-up to the Euro 2020 finals next summer.
Moving on to Group F and France, we introduce a former Rovers Player of the Year and World Cup winner.
